Dr.Mani Vannan, MBBS, FACC, FAHA, FASE
He is a pioneer in the field of Echocardiography and Cardiovascular Imaging. He is currently Co-Chief of Structural and Valvular Center of Excellence at the Piedmont Heart Institute, Atlanta, GA, USA. He has been a clinical cardiologist, educator and investigator for over 15 years. He started his career graduating from medical school in India and then trained in the United Kingdom before pursuing further cardiology practice in the US. He has been at the forefront of advanced imaging technologies, techniques and how these practices are applied in clinical practice. His passion is integrated cardiovascular imaging where a collaborative effort is made across different modalities to address questions for a given disease to aid in clinical-decision making and guide interventions and management.
He is Professor of Medicine and Medical Imaging at the Banner-University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. He is the Director of Echocardiography as well as the Medical Director, Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging. He is also a member of the Sarver Heart Center. He had extensive clinical and research training in the United Kingdom in Non-Invasive Cardiology with Drs. Roxy Senior and Avijit Lahiri. After completion of the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) diploma, he chose to move to the US in 2004 when he was offered the position of Clinical Project Director of the Echocore lab at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard University to work with the renowned Drs. Marc Pfeffer and Scott Solomon. He completed clinical cardiology fellowship at the University of Virginia, followed by training in advanced multi-modality non-invasive imaging working with Drs. Christopher Kramer, George Beller and John Dent. He is an author of the 2017 ASE guidelines update for the use of ultrasound contrast. He is a member of the Research Awards Task Force for the American Society of Echocardiography. He has presented lectures nationally and internationally. Dr Janardhanan is fully certified in echocardiography with a Diplomate in adult comprehensive echocardiography as well as Fellowship of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE). He is currently an editorial board member for 3D echocardiography for the ASE. He has a special interest in imaging in structural heart disease and interventional 3D-TEE during transcatheter and intra-operative procedures. He is a member of the successful TAVR, MitraClip and WATCHMAN team of Banner-University Medical Center Tucson.
Dr.Roxy Senior, MD, DMin, MRCP, FRCP
He is Professor of Clinical Cardiology at the Imperial College London and Director of Echocardiography at the Royal Brompton Hospital London,UK. He is also the Director of Cardiac Research at the Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow, UK. He has led 3 large multicentre trials in myocardial contrast echocardiography which were instrumental in this technique being in Guidelines in both Europe and USA. He is also instrumental in popularizing stress Echo. He is one of the first to show the cost-effectiveness of portable echo for screening for heart failure in the community. He has recently been awarded grant by the British Heart Foundation to develop High Frame rate Contrast Echocardiography. He graduated from the University of Calcutta in 1980, obtained his MD in Medicine in 1983, followed by DM in Cardiology in 1987 from the same University. He migrated to UK in 1989 and obtained his MRCP in 1989 and FRCP in 1999 from the Royal College of Physicians. He was awarded the 'Edler Lecture' Award by the University of Lund, Sweden for pioneering work in Echocardiography in 2007. Prof Senior has published > 350 peer-reviewed manuscripts with an h-index of 51.

Dr.Thomas Binder FESC
He has studied medicine at the Medical University in Vienna where he was also trained in internal medicine and cardiology. Research activities and clinical work brought him to the Huntington Memorial Research Institute in Pasadena, CA and Loma Linda Medical Center, CA, USA. His main focus is echocardiography. He has published numerous peer review articles in national and international journals and is the author of the Echo Fact Book and contributed to several other textbooks dealing with echocardiography and cardiology as assistant professor. He is currently director of the echocardiography laboratory at the Medical University of Vienna. He served on numerous national and international boards and is strongly engaged in all areas of clinical cardiology. He has conducted and lectured at over 150 national and international echocardiography courses and is a tutor for the Austrian-American Foundation. In 2009, he founded the online platform 123sonography.com, which teaches diagnostic ultrasound to a global community.
Dr.Thor Edvardsen, MD, PhD, FESC
Professor Thor Edvardsen is Head, Dept. of Cardiology at Oslo University Hospital in Norway. He has more than 270 international scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, and more than 20 book chapters and books. He is active in clinical and experimental research in the area of myocardial function and has extensive knowledge of cardiac ultrasound, CMR, CT and hemodynamics. Edvardsen is the EACVI President-Elect 2016-18.
